Do you have a baccalaureate or master's degree in nursing and want to further your nursing credentials by becoming certified in WOC nursing? We look forward to welcoming you into the webWOC Nursing Education Program. Please check the requirements below to ensure you meet the learner prerequisites prior to submitting your application.
- One year of RN clinical nursing experience following RN licensure.
- At least one year of current clinical nursing experience within the past 5 years. Evidence of nurse refresher course within the past 5 years is acceptable.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 if you are seeking graduate-level credits, or a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 for continuing education credits.
- Baccalaureate or master’s degree with a major in nursing.
- Fluency in the English language.

Requirements for RNs with a BS/BA in another discipline

- One year of RN clinical nursing experience following RN licensure.
- At least one year of current clinical nursing experience within the past 5 years. Evidence of nurse refresher course within the past 5 years is acceptable.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 if you are seeking graduate-level credits, or a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 for continuing education credits.
- An RN with a baccalaureate degree in another discipline with documentation of baccalaureate-level of nursing competence in the following four areas:
- Nursing Health Assessment
- Community Health Nursing
- Nursing Leadership and Management
- Research and Statistics
- Fluency in the English language.
