Can I do my clinical practicum during my regular work hours?

We recommend learners try to do their clinicals outside of their work facility to engage with WOC nurses in their community and gain new experience.  We recommend that hours spent in clinical be separate from employment time as it allows the learner to make mistakes or ask questions where an employee may not feel comfortable to. However, this is a recommendation and not a rule. If your facility approves and you can locate a WEB WOC qualified preceptor, you can get your clinical hours during your work hours.
