PURPOSE OF ACTIVITY:

The purpose of
this presentation is to increase knowledge and understanding of factors that
promote or inhibit wound repair so the participant can more fully understand
how wounds heal. 

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

FN526.22: This presentation identifies factors that
promote or inhibit wound healing process. An overview of wound healing
phases, the principles of wound management, and the impact of lifestyle
behaviors are highlighted as possible impediments to wound repair.
