SWA Course Information
The WEB WOC SWA® (Skin and Wound Care Associate) Course premiered in January 2018 to address the educational needs of the non-specialty caregiver who is interested in expanding knowledge of skin and wound care prevention and treatment. Learners who complete the SWA Course are eligible to sit for the WTA-C certification exam through the WOCNCB®. WEB WOC Programs, as the developer of this Course, has international recognition as the Premier Online Wound, Ostomy, Continence (WOC) Nursing education provider. With 20+ years of teaching ONLINE as a WOC Nursing Education Program accredited by the Wound, Ostomy Continence Nursing SocietyTM, it has earned a reputation for engaging, rigorous and evidence-based educational experiences. Additionally, WEB WOC is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC). Each of the WEB WOC faculty is master’s prepared with a minimum of 20 years of clinical experience in WOC Nursing practice and at least 20 years teaching Wound, Ostomy, Continence Care ONLINE.
SWA Course for Groups
Course delivery is for healthcare professions who are working together as a group from the same organization to acquire knowledge and skills to become a Skin & Wound Care Associate.
SWA Course as an Individual learner
As of January 1st, 2023 the individual SWA Course will only be a bundle for Contact Hours. If you are interested in pursuing the WTA-C credential, you may use the contact hours for experiential pathway through the WOCNCB.
Learner will have access to this course for 90 days after purchase.

Individuals who wish to customize content related to basic skin and wound care, may purchase separate modules that best fits their professional continuing education needs.
