Self-Paced WOC Pathway

The Self-Paced Program is WEB WOC’s most recent addition to its delivery options. This Program was developed to allow the learner flexibility and choice related to deadlines for assignments, quizzes, and finals. The learner receives twice as much time to complete theory with less faculty guidance. Faculty feedback remains an important aspect of learning in this approach but is less frequent that in the Traditional Program. For learners who desire more control over their schedules, this may be their best option.

Admissions Requirements

Do you have a baccalaureate or master’s degree and want to further your nursing credentials by becoming certified in WOC nursing? We look forward to welcoming you into the WEB WOC^® Nursing Education Program. Please check the requirements below to ensure you meet the learner prerequisites prior to submitting your application. WEB WOC Alumni do not need to re-apply to the program. Alumni should contact Admissions at admissions@webwocnurse.com.

Criteria for admission are:

RN with a Baccalaureate Degree or higher.*
A minimum GPA of 3.0. If your GPA is below 3.0, WEB WOC leadership will review prior to acceptance into the Program.
One year of RN clinical nursing experience following RN licensure.
Current clinical nursing experience within 5 years prior to admission to WEB WOC. Documentation of currency of clinical nursing experience within last 5 years: current, active practice, completion of a nurse refresher course, or a clinical performance examination.
Fluency in the English language.

*Bachelors Degree transcript in nursing or bachelors degree transcript in non-nursing with Associates Degree in Nursing transcript required. All Foreign transcripts (i.e., bachelor’s/associate’s) from degree-granting universities must be evaluated for verification of education, coursework and calculation of GPA. The evaluation must be a ‘Course by Course’ report from an organization such as: www.wes.org, www.ece.org, or www.cgfns.org (if using CGFNS, the evaluation is called an ‘Academic Report’). WEB WOC will also accept a Credentials Evaluation Service (CES) Professional Report from an organization such as: : www.wes.org, www.ece.org, or www.cgfns.org

Tuition & Fees

Whether you select the Full Scope, Dual Scope or Single Scope, you’ll find the WEB WOC Nursing Education Program to be exceptionally affordable. And, because WEB WOC Programs is accredited as a provider of continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission (ANCC) on Accreditation, you will receive ANCC contact hours for completing your WOC education. Returning Alumni Tuition: Alumni, that started Self-Paced coursework from 2021 to current, do not need to retake Seminars in WOC Nursing

Self-Paced Learner Schedule

The time to complete each course starts when you access the first course.

Single Scope Learner: 16 weeks to complete theory
Dual Scope Learner: 24 weeks to complete theory
Full Scope Learner: 32 weeks to complete theory
*Alumni returning that do not take Seminars (SEM 580) have 8 less weeks to complete theory for each scope.

Self-Paced Practicum: You may begin the clinical practicum upon successful completion of the courses for which you have enrolled.

Single Scope Learner: 5 weeks from completion of theory
Dual Scope Learner: 10 weeks from completion of theory
Full Scope Learner: 15 weeks from completion of theory
