COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Convexity is
an accessory that is key to proper fitting of pouching systems leading to
reliable wear time and reduced peristomal complications.  Unfortunately, the lack of standardization
of convexity has lead to confusion and even lack a universally accepted
nomenclature.  This course discusses
convexity including the principles, the indications, types and
misconceptions.
