Course Overview

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

When assessing prescriptive or over-the-counter drugs for patients
with wound, ostomy, or continence concerns, healthcare personnel frequently
lack fundamental pharmacologic/medication expertise as well as the
application of pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic principles. This presentation
will provide a review of pharmacologic principles to consider while treating
patients with wounds, ostomies, and/or continence difficulties.
