| COURSE DESCRIPTION: | The purpose of this Activity is to:1. Provide educational experiences to prepare the bachelor’s prepared nurse (and beyond) to practice Ostomy Care as a Nurse Specialist at an entry level in all care settings. 2. Provide access to a curriculum delivered by experienced online educators who are also Board Certified as Ostomy Care Nurse Specialists. 3. Increase the number of Ostomy Care Nurse Specialists providing specialty care across the health care settings. 4. Provide patients with evidence-based ostomy care. |
