WEB WOC^® NURSING EDUCATION PROGRAM is a collaboration of professional nurses, who are Board Certified as Wound, Ostomy and Continence (WOC) Care Nurse Specialists and dedicated to supporting and building the profession of WOC Nursing. It’s mission is compatible with that of the WOCN^® Society: to promote and support the education of bachelors’ prepared nurses to become WOC Nurse Specialists in order to guide the delivery of expert evidence-based health care to individuals with a wound, ostomy or continence issue.

Founded in 2001, the WEB WOC Nursing Education Program is the first online WOC nursing education program, and is fully accredited by the Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurses Society^TM .

Accreditation by the WOCN Society is a rigorous process that assures the consumer and learner that the program is compliant with established curriculum-based and administration-based criteria addressing such issues as admission requirements, faculty and preceptor qualifications, course content, expected clinical activities and experience, and the process of evaluation of the learner and the program.

WEB WOC Programs is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation since 2016.
