PURPOSE OF ACTIVITY:

The purpose of
this presentation is to expand the participant’s knowledge of wound
inflammation and infection management.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

FN526.19: This presentation provides an in-depth discussion regarding the
identification of risks, signs and symptoms of inflammation and or infection,
the topical management of wound bioburden as well as indication for timely
referrals in the care of the patient with a lower extremity wound.
