FN526.21: Foot Care Specialist: Management of
Periwound Skin

PURPOSE OF ACTIVITY:

 

The purpose of
this presentation is to assist the Foot Care Specialist to recognize risk
factors and treatment approaches in the management of periwound skin. 

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

 

FN526.21: This presentation discusses the prevention and
treatment approaches of moisture associated skin damage (MASD) and medical
adhesive related skin damage (MARSI) in the management of periwound skin
especially wounds of the lower extremity.
