Introduction to the Foot Care Course
WEB WOC® launched the Re-Boot of the Foot Care Course in 2020 to meet the needs of the WOCNCB® (Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse Certification Board) certification exam requirements.
Course Overview
The Foot Care Course offerings are offered in bundles or for individual purchase.
Intended Audience
For nurses looking to become certified in foot care or are seeking continuing education on the topic.
Certification
This course has been designed to contribute to or fulfill the educational requirements for certification in Foot Care through the WOCNCB®. It is the responsibility of the participant to determine if the course content applies to their practice and to submit completion documents to the desired certification board.
To qualify for initial certification eligibility requirements by the WOCNCB using the WEB WOC Foot Care Courses:
- Current RN License
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- Obtain the required Contact Hours as follows:
- Obtain 40 clinical hours* with a foot care expert: Physician, Podiatrist, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or a CFCN®
*Clinical hours are set up by the learner. WEB WOC does not do clinical placement for Foot Care.

Tuition
The tuition for this course is competitively based.
$450 for BUNDLE ONE: Foot Care Specialist Essentials & Lower Extremity Wound Prevention & Treatment.
This program provides the non-specialist nurse or healthcare provider the educational courses required to become a footcare specialist as outlined by the WOCNCB.
ANCC CONTACT HOURS: 30.8
Learner will have access to these courses for 90 days after purchase.
$275 for Foot Care BUNDLE TWO: Foot Care Specialist Essentials – FAST TRACK.
This program provides the CORE educational courses required to become a foot care specialist as outlined by the WOCNCB for those who are currently a Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN, CWON, or CWOCN).
ANCC CONTACT HOURS: 16.3
Learner will have access to these courses for 90 days after purchase.

These individual course modules provide the non-specialist nurse or healthcare provider the educational courses required to become a foot care specialist as outlined by the WOCNCB or for general knowledge and continuing education.

Course Completion Criteria
Course learning activities are requirements that need to be completed to enhance knowledge in the skin and wound care field.
- Successful completion of all course learning activities.
- Successful completion of quizzes with scores of 80% or above.
- Completion of the course evaluation.
Continuing Education
These courses are designed to meet continuing education requirements for health care professionals.
- Licensed nurses upon successful completion of a Foot Care course bundle or individual course modules, will be awarded Contact Hours by WEB WOC Programs which is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
- Non-nursing participants will receive a certificate of course completion upon successful completion of this course. It is the responsibility of non-nursing participants to determine if the Contact Hour credit applies to their practice and submit required materials to their licensing board for Contact Hour credit.
