| PURPOSE OF ACTIVITY: |
Maintaining peristomal skin health is a priority for the ostomy care nurse/provider to learn more about how to decrease the incidence of peristomal skin complications and improve the quality of life for those individuals with ostomies. Factors impacting peristomal skin health and strategies to prevent common peristomal skin complications will be presented. |
