This course is designed to increase the knowledge of nurses caring for patients with ostomies, related to basic strategies for managing ostomy pouching problems related to the peristomal skin.

PURPOSE OF ACTIVITY:

The purpose of this educational activity is to enable the nurse generalist to the certified wound, ostomy, and continence nurse (CWOCN) to identify and describe basic strategies for managing ostomy pouching problems related to the peristomal skin.
