Alternative Clinical Practicum offers a unique opportunity for learners to
complete a virtual clinical practicum with experienced faculty/preceptors at
WEB WOC. No other preceptor, clinical practicum location, contract,
orientation with the facility or learner health care records are required when
the Alternative (Virtual) Clinical Practicum is used. Unlike the traditional
clinical practicum, which is completed by time spent in clinical, the WEB WOC
Virtual Clinical Practicum focuses on what the learner can do with application
of learning from the WOC Nursing Education Courses. This approach to
learning/evaluation is known as competency-based evaluation (CBE).
The fee for the Alternative Clinical Practicum is nonrefundable.
