COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Skin tears are prevalent and found in all healthcare settings. Skin tears are often preventable, they are not routinely classified using a validated tool, and topical management is not evidence based.  This course focuses on the prevention, identification, classification and management of skin tears.

PURPOSE OF ACTIVITY:

The purpose of this activity is to enable the learner to: prevent, identify, classify and manage skin tears.
