Description

Integumentary Disorders

The purpose of this educational activity is to enable the nurse generalist to the advanced practitioner level to properly describe, identify and treat integumentary disorders.

Following this presentation, the participant will be able to:
• Review the anatomy of the skin and age related changes in structure and function
• Describe skin findings utilizing appropriate terminology
• Describe integumentary disorders, etiology, physical findings, and treatment recommendations

This content is delivered as an enduring material activity which is provider-directed, learner-paced and consists of handouts and test questions. To receive contact hours, the participant must complete all learning activities including the entire online program, an assessment quiz with a passing score of 80% and the course evaluation. Following completion of these materials, the participant is able to print the certificate of completion.
