COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The identification of atypical wounds is an important skill of healthcare care professionals caring for individuals with acute and chronic wounds. Developing a methodical approach to wound etiology differentiation will enhance this skill. Case studies will be used to highlight this approach with a focus on assessment findings that can help decipher atypical wound etiology.
