COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course is designed so the participant is able to describe basic information related to pathophysiology, preoperative care, key assessments for patients with a stoma and routine procedures. The offering has been developed by board certified specialists in ostomy care who are practicing clinically and teaching in an academic setting.
