PURPOSE OF ACTIVITY:

The purpose of this educational activity is to enable the learner to describe basic information related to pathophysiology, preoperative care, key assessments for patients with a stoma and routine procedures. The offering has been developed by board certified specialists in ostomy care who are practicing clinically and teaching in an academic setting.
