COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Challenging skin and wound care cases in WOC practices are important for the wound care nurse/provider to learn more about to increase identification, determine etiology and improve management. Unique skin/wound etiologies will be presented and the impact of patient related factors and engagement on wound management discussed.

PURPOSE OF ACTIVITY:

The purpose of this activity is to enable the learner to:  improve identification, determine etiology and enhance management of unique skin/wound etiologies through clinical challenges presented in WOC practices. The impact of patient related factors and engagement on wound management will be discussed.
