What is the Benefit of having FULL vs. SINGLE vs. DUAL scope?
Thank you for your interest in the WEB WOC Nursing Education Program. That is a great question! Many learners seek the Full Scope certification to enhance their career. An additional certification will always make a learner more marketable in the workplace and provide additional job opportunities in the WOC field.
Our alumni have informed us that it was more effective to accomplish all three scopes all at once instead of taking one scope at a time. The time involved in doing it this way allowed them to better focus on the flow of coursework and was more conducive to completing the clinical practicum for all three scopes in a shorter period.
It is always best to plan ahead and think outside of the box – if a learner is not currently in a position in which he/she is utilizing a specific scope, that situation can always, and will most likely, change in the future.
Please let us know if you should have additional questions. We applaud your efforts to advance your WOC goals and are here to help!
