Practicum
- How many Hours or Number of Days are Required to Complete the Clinical Practicum?
- Can I have multiple preceptors?
- Can I get a List of Preceptors from you? (Learner is not yet accepted / or registered and paid into Program)
- My Preceptor is WCC Certified, will that work?
- I think I have enough Hours of Experience – can I opt out of the Practicum?

How do I start looking for a preceptor?
Preceptors play an important role in the WEB WOC Nursing Education Program as they facilitate the transfer of learning from theory to practice. Preceptors are generally located in large medical facilities throughout the country. We recommend you start there – call a facility that is located near your home or work location first. The Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurses Society may also be a useful resource.
