Practicum
- How many Hours or Number of Days are Required to Complete the Clinical Practicum?
- Can I have multiple preceptors?
- Can I get a List of Preceptors from you? (Learner is not yet accepted / or registered and paid into Program)
- My Preceptor is WCC Certified, will that work?
- I think I have enough Hours of Experience – can I opt out of the Practicum?
- Can you begin working on a contract before a student has enrolled in the program?

Can I have multiple preceptors?
WEB WOC recommends no more than 2 preceptors for Full Scope Learners. Often learners who work with multiple preceptors will have one preceptor for Wound and Ostomy and a second preceptor for Continence, as learners will occasionally have difficulties locating a preceptor that is certified in all three scopes. The continence preceptor does not need to be certified by the WOCNCB – this person could be an MD, PT or NP.
