I am hesitant to apply to the program without locating a preceptor.

We understand your concerns in locating an approved preceptor with a current facility contract in place, but we (or any WOC Education Program) cannot guarantee a clinical placement. You may discuss with our practicum coordinator potential plans, and they can provide you with a list of contracted facilities for a specific state. Once you have registered and paid for the program, you can discuss more in-depth practicum plans with our practicum coordinator. They can provide you with a list of WEB WOC approved preceptors for a specific state.  If this concern is preventing you from committing to the Program, you do have the option of certifying via the Experiential Pathway.  Please visit the WOCNCB’s website for further details (www.wocncb.org). WEB WOC Nursing Education Program offers an option to complete practicum without a contract in place where the learner receives approval from their clinical site to complete clinicals without a contract between WEB WOC and the facility.
